At UniLine Graz, the Corporate Support Department is proud to champion sustainability at the University of Graz. Our commitment goes far beyond environmental protection—we believe true sustainability means caring for our planet, our people, and our community. Guided by the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we are taking meaningful action both within our fictional company and in real life.
Our Holistic Sustainability Strategy
Sustainability at UniLine Graz is more than a buzzword. We have developed a comprehensive strategy that addresses ecological and social aspects. We have reduced our paper usage to an absolute minimum, embracing digital solutions wherever possible, to reduce our waste, which is also reflected in our waste separation routine, ensuring valuable resources are recycled and reused. Continuing this approach during our meetings and for our virtual employees, we provide nutritional, seasonal and local foods. Our team culture is built on respect, motivation, appreciation and understanding for every colleague.
Raising Awareness beyond Our Borders
Our mission extends beyond UniLine Graz. We aim to raise awareness for sustainability across the entire practical enterprise market, both in Austria and internationally. That’s why we prioritize purchasing products with a strong sustainability focus, supporting responsible suppliers and encouraging others to do the same.
The Garden and Forest
One of our proudest achievements this year is the acquisition of a garden and adjacent forest. Therefore, we worked closely together with a PE from an agricultural high school and encouraged them to include those two and further sustainable products in their portfolio. Both locations are not only used for growing sustainable products but also integrated into our seminars. By connecting participants with nature, we foster a deeper understanding of sustainability and inspire positive change.
Social Responsibility and Employee Wellbeing
Sustainability is also about people. We are dedicated to the wellbeing of our employees—both real and virtual. We offer resilience training, yoga, sport sessions and mindfulness workshops to help everyone thrive and increase their physical and mental health. Additionally, we are committed to reducing cybercrime and ensuring a safe and secure environment for all.
