One highlight of this ÜFA semester just took place, namely the exchange between the Vilniaus Kolegija and the University of Graz. Both institutions have a vast history in teaching practice firms and therefore it was only logical to connect students as well as teachers with each other about this subject.
After an Austrian delegation visited Lithuania in the middle of April, it was our turn then to welcome a group of eight Lithuanian students and two professors here in Graz. Therefore the Monitoring & Marketing team organized a week full of university and leisure activities. From presenting each other our practice firms, a guided tour through the city center and to an online trading day with another school the schedule was very diverse and exciting.
We could learn a lot from this exchange as it showed us how practice firms are taught in other places of the world. In addition, it was very insightful to hear about the ideas and concepts of our Lithuanian visitors when it comes to team work, problem solving and hybrid companies.
Hopefully this will be one of many practice firms exchanges and the WIPÄD institute can welcome new visitors from all over the world!
