HEIPNET: An insight into the world of practice enterprises in Lithuania

From 18th to 23rd of April five members and two teachers of our practice enterprise “eXpand International Consultancy GmbH” experienced a week of learning, culture and fun in the Lithuanian port city of Klaipeda. It was a pleasure to meet students and teachers from the university of “Klaipėdos valstybinė kolegija” and learn from them about the practice enterprise system in Lithuania. The week in Lithuania was a mixture of exploring the operations of the on-site practice enterprises and workshops on topics like creative thinking or even innovative technologies in vocational education and training – both at the faculty of business and of technology. Additionally, to the daily courses at the university, we also had the chance to visit and explore the wonderful cities of Klaipeda and Palanga, as well as the beautiful nature sorrounding them. The highlights of our week in Lithuania were our trip to the National Park of “Curionian Spit” and the insights in the very practice oriented course programme of our fellow students. We are already looking forward to integrating many learning outcomes from our week in Lithuania into our daily practice enterprise businesses and hope to meet our Lithuanian friends again one day.
