Our journey to Vilnius, Lithuania, was packed with exciting experiences! The purpose of this trip was to collaborate with the practice enterprise Viko Bankas to conduct an audit process. Here’s a recap of our five eventful days.
Day 1: A Turbulent Start
The first day began with a challenge: we missed our connecting flight from Munich to Vilnius. We were rebooked onto a different route and ended up in Copenhagen late at night—unfortunately, without our luggage. Despite the unexpected detour, we were eager to see what Vilnius had in store for us.
Day 2: Arrival and First Impressions
Finally, we arrived in Vilnius and were warmly welcomed by the students of Viko Bankas. Since the audit process was scheduled to begin the following day, we spent the afternoon on a joint sightseeing tour with Viko Bankas. A highlight was visiting the palace. We ended the evening with a delicious dinner and a relaxed visit to a local bar.
Day 3: Kicking Off the Audit Process
Day three was all about the audit. Following presentations by UniLine and Viko Bankas and a quick university tour, we got straight to work. The day was long and intense but incredibly insightful. To reward ourselves, we enjoyed another wonderful dinner together in the evening.
Day 4: Success and Christmas Magic
The audit process was successfully completed! After delivering detailed and positive feedback to Viko Bankas, we had the afternoon free to explore. Light snowfall and stunning Christmas decorations made the city feel magical. We wandered through shops, relaxed in cozy cafés, and ended the night reflecting on our trip over drinks.
Day 5: Returning Home
Our return journey to Graz went smoothly. Looking back, the trip was a huge success—both professionally and personally. We learned a great deal, gained valuable experiences, and are grateful to have been part of such a remarkable project!
